Wayne has been tramping the woods since he was a boy. He followed his father and uncles as they fished the local brooks and streams, and later when he was older, he followed them on hunts in the New Brunswick woods. From early on, he’s been at his best when he’s wandering the trails and backwoods, enjoying the beauty and peace of the forest. He’s an experienced professional trapper, having run trap lines all over New Brunswick for 35 years, acquiring a skill and knowledge in this trade that is known throughout the province. He’s a skilled woodsman and hunter, with trophies to prove it. Wayne is an expert bear hunter with a 100% success rate for many years. He’s had 100% success as well as a guide for Moose Hunting during the last 10 years. His many trophies of White Tail deer of 200 to 300 pounds field dress and his victories at local Big Buck competitions are a credit to his competence.
He has also mastered the art of fishing, and enjoy fly-fishing for salmon and trout, and has even tried his hand at shark fishing! He is an all-round outdoors man, and there is nothing he enjoys more than sharing his knowledge and skill with fellow hunters and fishers.

With a background in the hospitality industry and a love of cooking, she makes sure that you are in clean, comfortable surroundings and that you never go hungry. She takes pride in preparing hearty, home cooked meals that you will enjoy, tempting you with great variety and good-sized portions. The Lodge is welcoming you with its cozy and pleasant furnishings, and Rachel wants nothing more than to make you feel right at home. Rachel is also a licensed Guide and is ready to lend Wayne a hand in guiding hunters whenever the need arises.
