Munson's
Landing Lodge is located on the beautiful South Branch Renous River about
10 miles from Blackville, New Brunswick, Canada. With its secluded setting
and surrounding wilderness, the Lodge is ideal for excellent Black Bear
and White-tail hunting adventures. When you are not hunting, relax at the
Lodge or try your luck in our private salmon pool (depending on season).
The lodge is a two-storey
cedar log structure which can accommodate up to 6 (six) hunters, so groups
are not a problem. It is surrounded by wilderness and located
in one of the best hunting areas of New Brunswick. Moose, deer, and
especially bear, are plentiful in the area, as well as other hunted species
such as grouse, rabbit, and waterfowl. The area has numerous lakes
and rivers which are great for canoeing and fishing, plus a multitude of smaller brooks and
streams to fish for brook trout.
Munson's Landing
is also located close to some of the best salmon fishing spots in the area
and indeed in the world. The Renous River, the Dungarvon River, and
the Miramichi River are known around the world for Atlantic Salmon fishing
and Munson's Landing Lodge is located only minutes away from all these
great rivers.
Numerous trails and
wood-logging roads provide access to the wilderness for those who enjoy nature
and might like to experience it first-hand. Blackville is only a few
minutes away for those who would need anything from the more civilized world.
Even with
its remote
location, propane generated electricity, wood heat, and running
cold and hot water at the Lodge provide most of the comforts of home to
make your stay an enjoyable one. Your hosts, Wayne & Rachel King, are
committed to providing excellent service and accommodations to all their
guests at Munson's Landing Lodge. To their commitment to service, add excellent
wildlife habitat, gorgeous scenery, and experienced guides, and you have
a hunting adventure that can't be beat! Hope to see you soon at Munson's
Landing Lodge!
